Terms of Service
Last updated: June 12, 2026
These terms govern your use of WorldsEngineering, operated by [FULL NAME OR COMPANY NAME], [ADDRESS], Switzerland ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these terms.
1. The service
WorldsEngineering is a community platform where engineers publish posts, tag them, vote, and discuss. The free tier includes reading, writing, voting, and commenting. The paid "Creator Pro" tier adds the perks described on the pricing page.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, to use the platform.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Creator Pro is billed as a recurring subscription through Stripe at the price shown at checkout. Your subscription renews automatically each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings via the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep Pro benefits until then. We may change prices with advance notice; changes apply from your next renewal.
4. Refunds
Except where required by mandatory law, payments already made are non-refundable, including for partially used billing periods. If something went wrong with a charge — for example a duplicate payment or a billing error — contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL] and we will review it in good faith.
5. Your content
You retain all rights to the posts and comments you publish. By publishing, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display your content for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform. You are responsible for what you publish and confirm you have the necessary rights to it.
6. Acceptable use and moderation
You may not post content that is unlawful, infringes others' rights, contains malware, doxxes individuals, constitutes spam, or harasses other users. We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put the community or the service at risk — with or without prior notice in serious cases. Where reasonable, we will tell you what rule was violated.
7. Termination
You may delete your account at any time; your content is deleted with it as described in the Privacy Policy. Deleting your account does not entitle you to a refund of an active subscription period.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential damages, loss of profit, and loss of data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for intent or gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Swiss law. User content reflects its authors' views, not ours.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. We will announce material changes on the platform; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue is [PLACE OF JURISDICTION, e.g. Zürich], Switzerland, subject to mandatory consumer protections that grant you a different venue.
